Government announces 5 Eid ul Fitr holidays

eid ul fitr holidaysThe Federal government has announced Eid Ul Adha holidays for five days starting from July 17 (Friday) due to Eid-ul-Fitr holidays and will reopen on July 22 (Wednesday).

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar on Monday approved five holidays for Eid-ul-Fitr for government organisations, semi-government organisations, banks and educational institutions.

Speaking to the press, the interior minister said that the holidays would be from July 17 to 21. Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations mark the culmination of the holy month of ramazan during which muslims all over the world observe 30 days of fasting.
