JHANG: A five-year-old kid died on Sunday in Punjab’s Jhang district after being attacked by stray dogs in yet another dog bite incident.
According to reports, a group of stray dogs mauled a five-year-old minor kid to death on Sunday when he was playing with her pals near a graveyard in Jhang.
Rescuers arrived at the site after being alerted and discovered Abdul Rehman, a little child, dead after being attacked by dogs.
The Chief Minister of Punjab, Usman Buzdar, took notice of a little boy’s death from a dog bite and asked a report from the Faisalabad Division Commissioner and the RPO Faisalabad.
An impartial inquiry of the incident was ordered by the chief minister.
The CM expressed his condolences and deepest sympathies to the family of the deceased. He promised that the bereaved family will be compensated.
The number of stray dogs attacking humans in Punjab is on the rise.
A 12-year-old child was murdered by dogs on February 1 in the Punjab region of Dera Ghazi Khan (DG Khan), which also happens to be the hometown of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
At a DG Khan school, Mubashir, a seventh-grader, was bitten by six stray dogs. On a motorbike, locals carried the boy to DHQ hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead upon arrival.
