Noman scores seven as Pakistan defeats Sri Lanka to win the series.

Noman Ali led Pakistan to a 222-run victory over Sri Lanka, winning the second Test inside four days and the series 2-0. Noman Ali got seven wickets in the victory.

In the evening session in Colombo, the left-arm spinner grabbed the first seven wickets and the quick bowler Naseem Shah got the final three to knock Sri Lanka out for 188.

In his 15th Test, Noman posted career-high stats of 7-70, giving Pakistan their greatest Test victory over Sri Lanka and fourth overall in innings triumphs. At home, Sri Lanka suffered their worst Test loss.

Babar Azam, the captain, claimed that “everyone stepped up and showed hunger to win this series.”

After just two overs in the morning session, Pakistan, who won the first Test by four wickets, declared their first innings on 576-5 with a huge advantage of 410 runs.
