Today is Eid ul Fitr, which is being observed with religious zeal and devotion throughout the country. Eid celebrations were held in open areas, mosques, and Eidgahs across the country in all cities, towns, and villages.
The importance and concept of Eid ul Fitr were emphasised by the Ulema.
Special prayers were said for the progress and prosperity of the country, as well as the well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
The greatest Eid gathering in the Federal capital was held at the Faisal Mosque, where President Dr. Arif Alvi, as well as prominent officials and envoys from Muslim countries, offered Eid prayers.
