Karachi (Today News) – Amir Warraich, President of the Karachi Bar Association, was injured in an attack, Dunya News reported here on Tuesday.
The bar president said six people attacked him. According to the City SSP, the incident occurred on II Chundrigar Road, and police were gathering evidence to locate the perpetrators.
Sindh Interior Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar has taken note and directed the City SSP to locate the criminals as soon as possible and initiate an investigation with the assistance of attorneys. The minister asked police to use all available evidence for an effective and results-oriented investigation.
The Sindh Bar Council denounced the attack and called for a nationwide strike, claiming that police failed to safeguard the attorneys. It urged the Sindh IG to take note of the occurrence and safeguard the safety of the attorneys.
