Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling action is deemed unlawful by Cricket Australia.

On Friday, Cricket Australia’s independent expert ruled that Pakistani bowler Mohammad Hasnain’s bowling motion was unlawful.

According to facts, the test on Hasnain’s bowling motion was done on January 21 at the International Cricket Council’s (ICC) certified testing centre in Lahore.

“The board today received a formal and detailed report from Cricket Australia on Mohammad Hasnain’s assessment test, which stated his elbow extension for his good length delivery, full length delivery, slow bouncer, and bouncer exceeded the 15-degree limits,” according to a statement issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

“After discussing the report with its own bowling specialists, the PCB is sure that the situation can be remedied.” The PCB will now employ a bowling consultant to work with Mohammad Hasnain to improve his bowling motion and prepare for a review.

“Mohammad Hasnain is a valuable asset to Pakistan and one of the few bowlers who can consistently hit 145kmph.” As a result, and with his future and Pakistan’s interests in mind, the PCB has determined, on the suggestion of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 Technical Committee, that he will no longer be able to compete in the PSL.
