Pakistan has confirmed 43 deaths caused by a new coronavirus in the preceding 24 hours, bringing the overall number of positive cases to 1,503,873, including 1,232 new coronavirus cases. On Wednesday, the total number of fatalities in Pakistan reached 30,096.
In terms of mortality, Punjab is the worst-affected province, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The epidemic has claimed the lives of 13,471 people in Punjab, 8,045 in Sindh, 6,226 in KP, 1,007 in Islamabad, 784 in Azad Kashmir, 374 in Balochistan, and 189 in Gilgit Baltistan.
