Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave today for a two-day visit to Russia.

According to a Foreign Office announcement, Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Russia today (Wednesday) at the request of President Vladimir Putin (FO).

“A high-level entourage, including cabinet members, will accompany the prime minister. The bilateral summit will be the highlight of the visit.” According to the press release.

According to the FO, the two countries have cordial connections that are “characterised by mutual respect, trust, and convergence of views on a wide range of international and regional concerns.”

According to the statement, the Prime Minister’s visit would assist to expand the complex Pakistan-Russia bilateral relationship and boost mutual collaboration in a range of areas.
