According to the constitution, the President’s Secretariat has requested Pakistan’s Election Commission to recommend general election dates within ninety days after the National Assembly’s dissolution (NA).
According to details, the President’s Secretariat has informed the Pakistan Election Commission that clause 5(A) of Article 48 and clause 2 of Article 224 of the constitution require the President to set a date for general elections not later than ninety days after the National Assembly is dissolved.
