On Saturday, the Speaker of the Punjab Assembly, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, submitted a police report on the occurrence of violence in the House. He also referred to Hamza Shehbaz’s election as a fabrication and declared that the Chief Minister election was not in accordance with the constitution.
According to the source, the Punjab Assembly Speaker, Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi, went to the Qila Gujar Singh police station to file the case.
A sizable number of Assembly members joined him. He also urged that the subject be brought before the Punjab Assembly.
