Former President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts bore fruit on Thursday when the Balochistan Awami Party-Mengal (BNP-M) agreed to join the federal cabinet.
Agha Hassan Baloch will be named Federal Minister for Science and Technology, while Hashim Notezai will be appointed Minister of State for Energy, according to sources.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Sardar Akhtar Mengal.
The premier stated that the administration will prioritise steps to guarantee the national mainstreaming of Balochistan’s youth.
PM Shehbaz Sharif described the Baloch labour as a valuable asset to the country.
