For quite some time, Sony’s next flagship device has been rumoured. The Sony Xperia 1 IV has previously been leaked with a few characteristics, but now we have an official release date according to the company’s latest statement.
Sony has announced the debut of a new product on May 11th. The teaser video presents a quick summary of all of the Xperia 1 series smartphones that have been released so far, closing with the statement “the next one is coming.”
It even gives you a sneak peek at the phone’s front design. The classic top and bottom bezels look to be staying, while the fingerprint sensor on the side is clearly visible. This year’s general design does not appear to be changing much.
