Russian military shelled Ukraine’s capital late Thursday during a visit by UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who blasted the “absurdity” of conflict in the twenty-first century, while US President Joe Biden requested an additional $33 billion in aid to Kyiv.
At least three persons were injured in the western part of the city, which were the first in the capital in over two weeks and occurred after Guterres toured Bucha and other districts where Moscow is accused of war crimes.
