Imran Khan’s detention in the Masjid-e-Nabawi issue is hinted to by Rana Sanaullah.

ISLAMABAD (Answers.com) – Federal Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah suggested on Sunday that former Prime Minister Imran Khan might be jailed in connection with a case involving sloganeering against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his delegation at Masjid-e-Nabawi.

According to Rana Sanaullah, the event involving the harassment of PML-N officials at the holy mosque was preplanned, and around 100-150 persons were part in the incident.

The minister went on to say that the Saudi government had decided to take action against those engaged in the event, and that some of them will be deported from the Kingdom.

Previously, the nephew of former Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad was apprehended as soon as his jet touched down at New Islamabad International Airport.
