On Thursday, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) decided not to pursue the money laundering case against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Hamza Shahbaz, and others any further.
According to the information, the court has entered the FIA prosecution team’s petition into the record.
In his written verdict, the special judge central said that the FIA special prosecutor had made a petition to drop the case.
Despite the agency’s judgement, the court has chosen to continue the trial and has ordered PM Shehbaz Sharif, CM Hamza Shahbaz, and other defendants to appear in court on May 14.
