After a police crackdown in Sialkot, Imran Khan has called for public demonstrations

ISLAMABAD: After police prevented PTI activists from staging a rally at Sialkot venue on Saturday, former Prime Minister Imran Khan encouraged all party workers to take to the streets after Isha prayers and organise a protest against the “imported government.”

On the early hours of Saturday, police launched a raid on PTI supporters for holding a public meeting without the permission of the Christian community in a Sialkot ground.

The PTI’s request for a political meeting on private land was denied by the Sialkot government, which gave them several alternatives for a new location.
