Due to the potential of terrorism, drones are restricted in Karachi

The Sindh Home Department has banned the use of drones in the District South of Karachi due to a new terrorism threat.

For the next two months, the Sindh Home Department has issued a notice restricting the use of drones and flying cameras in Karachi’s South District.

The decision was made when the deputy inspector general (DIG) South, through Sindh’s inspector general, informed the provincial authorities of the terrorism threat (IG). In his letter, the police officer voiced concern about a terrorist strike on government buildings and other key areas.
