Only batsmen with a strike rate of more than 135 would be selected for the T20s, according to Afridi.

KARACHI — Interim Chief Selector Shahid Afridi said on Monday that players having a T20 strike rate of less than 135 would not be selected.

Speaking on a private TV show, Mr Afridi stated, “As a selector, I am keeping an eye on all the members of the Pakistan cricket team. The Karachi Test pitch did not meet my expectations. I only there was a bouncy track there.

When asked about his responsibilities, Mr Afridi said that keeping everyone happy in the workplace was a challenging responsibility.

“I am in close touch with the players,” Mr Afridi said of his interactions with the players.

Mr Afridi commented on the communication gap, saying that when there was a lack of communication in the dressing room, other individuals were prone to take advantage of the situation.
