LAHORE- Imran Khan, the leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, said on Saturday that the rule of law is essential for democracy to thrive and that a solid legal system would protect the supremacy of the constitution.
On Twitter, he said that the country had applauded the Lahore High Court’s ruling and that the people supported the judiciary in restoring faith in the legal system.
The PTI leader also met with a group of attorneys led by President of the District Bar Association of Gujranwala Chaudhry Parvez Abid Haral, who publicly declared his support for the party.
