Bilawal talks with European peers in an effort to strengthen connections.

MUNCHEN – Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with his Norwegian colleague, Anniken Huitfeldt, on Sunday and vowed to collaborate to combat the global rise in Islamophobia.

They expressed their intention to deepen ties between Pakistan and Norway during their meeting on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

Bilawal also met with Kosovo Foreign Minister Donika Gervalla-Schwarz, with whom he agreed to undertake the second round of bilateral political negotiations.

At the discussion, he said that Pakistan and Kosovo have ancient and historic links. They discussed ways to improve cooperation in tourism, health, education, commerce, and manpower.

The Pakistani foreign minister also met with Josep Borrell, Vice President of the European Union Council.

He said that Pakistan places a great emphasis on its relations with the European Union. They decided to enhance Pakistan’s and the EU’s multifaceted connections. They spoke about several regional and worldwide problems of mutual importance.
