PAF grants a wish to a deserving youngster.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (APP) – While showing extreme compassion for Master Abdullah Naveed, a bright child suffering from thalassemia, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu made his lifetime dream come true by making him a PAF pilot for a day at a Pakistan Air Force (PAF) operational base on Friday.

“It was Abdullah Naveed’s dream to become a PAF fighter pilot, which reflects the traditional affiliation of the entire Pakistani young generation with the PAF.”

Master Abdullah visited a PAF operational base, where he was given an honorary rank by Air Officer Commanding, Southern Air Command, Air Vice Marshal Khalid Mehmood and Base Commander Air Commodore Asim Rana in the traditional manner used in the PAF, according to a PAF news release.
The youngster was also given a simulated flight experience in a fighter plane and was taken on a tour of the base’s different units and wings.

Abdullah’s parents, as well as the founding President of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Ishtiaq Baig, accompanied him.

Abdullah was overjoyed and thrilled after this extraordinary and uncommon event.
