The arrest of Imran Khan in the Al-Qadir Trust case adds to the air of gloom.

ISLAMABAD (Today News) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) brought former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan into jail in the Al-Qadir Trust case on Tuesday, leading the IHC to take notice. The NAB determined that Imran Khan did not react to the notifications sent to him, adding that his detention was “completely in accordance with law and NAB ordinance.”

According to Imran Khan’s cousin, Saifullah Niazi, the PTI head was detained on the grounds of the Islamabad High Court, where he appeared in two cases. He was transferred to the Rawalpindi office of the NAB. In the operation, the NAB team was aided by Pakistan Rangers soldiers.
