A petition regarding the Punjab elections will be heard by the Supreme Court today

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) will petition the Supreme Court for a review of its April 4 decision to hold elections today (Monday), as the Supreme Court’s May 14 deadline for doing so has passed.

A three-judge panel, led by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial and included Justices Ijazul Ahsan and Munib Akhtar, will evaluate the review petition submitted by the ECP.
