(Web Desk) – Shadab Khan, a Pakistan all-rounder now playing for Sussex in the upcoming T20 Vitality Blast, has reached another milestone in the shortest format of cricket.
Shadab has became the second-youngest player in T20 cricket history to finish 250 matches at the age of 24 years and 247 days. He reached the milestone during a match against Middlesex earlier this week.
The right-handed hitter scored 2408 runs in 250 games, including eight 50-run innings. He also had a great bowling game, taking 280 wickets, including a five-wicket haul.
In a Vitality Blast match against Middlesex, he struck a blazing 59-run knock from just 30 balls, including five sixes. He also bowled an economical session, allowing just 30 runs in four overs. Later, he was proclaimed match winner.
Rashid Khan of Afghanistan is the youngest cricketer to have played 250 shortest-format matches.
