Shan Gul, the Punjab Advocate General, has resigned.

LAHORE – Punjab Advocate General Muhammad Shan Gul has chosen to resign for personal reasons.

According to sources, he resigned from his position as interim chief minister to Mohsin Naqvi for personal reasons. He said that it was difficult for him to continue doing his tasks. Despite his resignation, Gul will continue to work until June 26.

The Punjab government selected Gul as advocate general in mid-February. He has previously served as the interim government’s extra advocate general.
