Senate Chair Sadiq Sanjrani is serving as president in the absence of President Dr. Arif Alvi.
President Alvi had already flown to Saudi Arabia with his family to do the Hajj.
An announcement from the Cabinet Division states that the Senate Chairman in Quetta has assumed the role of President. Sanjrani is currently in Balochistan’s capital as a result of the death of his aunt.
