KARACHI,(Today News) – Unidentified individuals opened fire on the car of an MPA’s brother in Phase 7 of the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) on Wednesday, killing two people and injuring many more.
According to police, Akram Abro, 67, a member of the Sindh Bar Council, and his son Shaharyar Abro were killed. The suspects targeted the brother of ex-MPA Aslam Abro’s car. Aslam Abro had lately left the PTI.
The suspects fired fire indiscriminately before fleeing the area. At the time of the event, the victims were on their way to Jacobabad.
The deceased and injured were sent to a neighboring hospital. Police and forensic teams came on the site and removed the required evidence.
