LAHORE – Tariq Bashir Cheema, the federal minister of food, declined to comment on a current scandal involving his son.

The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) is allegedly involved in a video controversy that recently made news. One of the culprits in the horrific tragedy is his son Walidad.

Cheema reportedly avoided commenting on the situation when speaking to reporters. He is reported to have implored, “For God’s sake, don’t involve my son in the scandal.”

He said, “I will not provide any explanation in this respect, and the claim against my son has to be looked into.
