KARACHI: As many as 3600 street criminal events were recorded in Karachi during the month of Ramazan, while seven individuals were killed.
During the holy month, a total of 1600 motorbikes were either kidnapped or stolen in the city, according to provincial officials’ records. During the month, over 1800 mobile phones and 121 four-wheelers were stolen.
According to the authorities, seven people were murdered and 43 others were injured during street violence occurrences in the metropolitan area. “There has been a decrease in stealing of mobile phones, motorbikes, and automobiles during the month,” they stated.
