The Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) applied for the party’s registration with the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday.

The IPP has asked for “Eagle” to be designated as the party’s election symbol.

The party designated Jahangir Khan Tareen as the chairman and included a copy of the party manifesto with the application.

Syed Zulfiqar Ali Shah, a former leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has joined the IPP.

Jahangir Khan Tareen, the IPP’s principal patron, received a call from Zulfiqar Ali Shah. Zulfiqar decided to join the IPP on this occasion.
