According to Japan’s finance minister, Shunichi Suzuki, the Group of Seven affluent nations’ central banks and finance ministers agreed on Saturday that the international financial system is stable, but care is still essential.

In a joint statement, the authorities committed to address any regulatory flaws discovered in the financial sector as a result of recent crises at Swiss and American banks. They also promised to continue working closely with supervisory and regulatory organisations to monitor financial industry trends.
