At least eight individuals were killed, including six members of the same family, and two others were injured when the minivan they were traveling in crashed into a nullah near Kasur in the early hours of Friday.
The victims were returning from a wedding when their car collided on Raiwind Road near Khara Chowk after the driver fell asleep.
Rescue 1122 and a police crew arrived to the accident site and transported the deceased and injured to Bulleh Shah District Hospital. Eight people, including a lady, perished at the scene.
The deceased were identified as Laiba (30), Imran (35), Suleman (38), Sunny (25), Maqsood (35), and two unknown individuals.
