According to rescuers and witnesses, the roof of a one-room house in Landi Kotal’s Gagra area collapsed on Sunday, killing an 11-year-old girl and wounding eight others.
Women and children are among those who have been injured. Locals helped rescuers retrieve casualties from the wreckage and transfer them to the hospital.
Since the roof fell, structural issues became evident.
