Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan stated on Wednesday that past administrations had never considered people’s relief and that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is the only party that provides health-care services to the common public.
The premier stated during the launch ceremony of the Naya Pakistan Qaumi Sehat Card scheme that individuals who stole the country’s money are receiving medical care in other countries. He went on to say that the entire family is in London for treatment.
PM Imran stated that with this Sehat Card, every family will be able to obtain healthcare services worth up to one million rupees each year. He said that our health card has left all affluent or developed countries behind.
According to Imran Khan, poor individuals face difficulties in receiving medical treatment owing to a lack of funds. He went on to remark that no one has considered the concept of providing people with free medical treatment.
The PM went on to say that Rs450 billion has been used for health insurance purposes, emphasising the guts and commitment required to take such initiatives.
