The Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) will meet today for the inaugural session of the 48th session, which will be hosted by Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan will underscore Pakistan’s position and commitment to the OIC in his keynote address at the first session, as well as examine the challenges affecting the Muslim world.

The topic of the session is ‘Building Partnerships for Unity, Justice, and Development,’ and it will be held in Parliament House.

Over 100 resolutions will be considered during the two-day session.

The session falls on the 75th anniversary of Pakistan’s independence.
