After the Islamabad High Court (IHC) refused their bail applications in the Sindh House assault case, police apprehended two members of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) National Assembly.
The two MPs’ petition was heard by Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.
The accused were granted pre-arrest bail until April 26 by the court earlier this month.
It is worth recalling that PTI workers stormed the Sindh House following accusations that dissident members were planning to vote against Prime Minister Imran Khan in a no-confidence motion.
This occurred only hours after PTI workers demonstrated outside Sindh House in the federal capital’s Red Zone.
