Three people died and seven were injured in rain-related incidents in Lahore

LAHORE – A downpour in many regions of Lahore claimed three lives and injured seven more.

The roof of a house in a village near the Baba Bulleh Shah Interchange in Gajjumata (Lahore) fell, killing one and injuring five.

Another roof broke off at Shaukat Khanum Chowk, injuring two persons. One of the injured was transferred to Jinnah Hospital for treatment.

In two separate occasions, electric shock claimed the lives of two citizens.

According to Rescue sources, a 30-year-old guy riding a motorcycle received an electric shock after colliding with an electricity pole. The dead could not be identified.
