QUETTA: Interim Interior Minister Sarfraz Bugti said on Saturday that the Indian intelligence agency, Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), is involved in terror activities in Pakistan.

On Friday, two suicide blasts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan killed several people and injured many more.

During a press conference in Quetta, Bugti pledged to establish the state’s writ at any cost.

Bugti added that the government knew who was involved in these activities and that they will avenge every drop of blood shed by Pakistanis.

The minister also pledged to employ all available resources to combat terrorism, adding that terrorists and their facilitators had no place in the country.
“We know who is doing it and from where,” Bugti insisted.

A suicide bomber struck an Eid Milad un Nabi parade in the remote area of Mastung, Balochistan, killing at least 52 people and injuring 60 more. Meanwhile, in KP’s Hangu, another suicide bomber smashed into a mosque, killing five people — including a police officer — and injuring 12.

Both assaults occurred on Friday, during the preparations for Friday prayers and celebrations of Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) birth anniversary.

Meanwhile, a charge against unknown assailants has been recorded at the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) police station in Quetta in connection with a suicide assault during the preparations for the Eid Miladun Nabi parade in Balochistan’s Mastung region.
