DI Khan (Today News) – At least nine terrorists were killed in two separate operations carried out by security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to ISPR.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), intelligence-led operations resulted in the killing of nine terrorist extremists.
According to an Army spokesperson, the first operation was carried out in Dera Ismail Khan in response to a tip-off regarding the presence of terrorists, and four militants were killed in a fierce exchange of fire.
Similarly, another operation in Bannu resulted in the deaths of five terrorists and the recovery of a substantial cache of ammunition and weapons from the radicals.
The ISPR stated that sanitization operations are already underway in these locations to eradicate any residual terrorists, with the goal of completely eliminating foreign-supported terrorism from the nation.
The statement stated that guns and ammunition were retrieved from the deceased terrorists, who had been participating in terrorist actions against security forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent people with Indian support.
According to the ISPR, under the National Action Plan and with the permission of the Federal Apex Committee, the counter-terrorism effort by security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue in full force to guarantee the complete elimination of foreign-backed terrorism in the country.
