Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced the start of direct flights to Sydney, Australia, on Thursday.
PIA will begin offering direct flights to Sydney on April 22. Interline tickets to eight Australian locations have also been bought by Virgin Australia Airlines.
According to a PIA spokesman, flights would be operated from Lahore to Sydney on Friday and from Sydney to Lahore on Sunday. Arrangements have also been made, with PIA customers being able to fly directly to Sydney and eight other Australian destinations thanks to an interline arrangement.
