ISLAMABAD – The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) foreign funding case has been removed from the Election Commission’s cause list yet again.

The hearing in this matter, which was initially scheduled on September 26, has been delayed.

The last hearing’s judgment required PTI to provide a final answer to the show cause by August 22, and failing to comply would result in the Election Commission pursuing the matter.

The Election Commission clarified in its directive that if a final response is not received, a decision would be made based on the existing records.
