QUETTA – A spike in coronavirus infections in Balochistan compelled the province administration to establish rigorous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including a maximum of 300 attendees for indoor events and 500 for outdoor events.
According to the provincial government’s warning, just 70% of individuals would be permitted to ride public transportation.
The Balochistan administration has imposed these stringent measures in response to the rapid increase in coronavirus infections that has swept the whole country.
According to the most recent National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) data, 7,678 people tested positive with COVID-19 in the last 24 hours.
There have been 516,874 confirmed coronavirus cases in Sindh, 458,879 in Punjab, 183,403 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 115,047 in Islamabad, 34,997 in Azad Kashmir, 33,812 in Balochistan, and 10,467 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
